Fermentation carries the bran to a genuinely high temperature, around 60°C, but because it is a loose powder rather than water it feels gentle. In 2024 the Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand granted a patent covering the fermentation and manufacturing method. There is real technical grounding here that others cannot simply copy.

Where it beganWe founded the company in 2000 with a mission: to help people with disabilities and older people live well in their own way, through experiences of Thai nature and culture.
But travel is easily knocked about by things outside your control — political turmoil among them — and at one point the business was genuinely in danger. It was in the middle of that, grasping at anything, that we started the charcoal business.
Some years later, once the company was on stable ground, a thought kept returning: we did not start this company to become charcoal merchants. It was time to go back to the mission we began with.
The turning pointOne day we came to know, close up, someone whose health had been badly damaged — and who, after finding the enzyme bath, put body and mind back in order and returned to calmer days. That was where all of this started.
The capacity people carry within them to right themselves moved our founder deeply. When they said “we want to use one when we come to Bangkok — why not build it?”, that was the push into development and into building the business.
After visiting enzyme baths all over Japan, we reached a conclusion: it is best to work with the microorganisms native to the place itself. That led us to a local-materials, locally-made Rice Bran Enzyme Bath, built entirely from what is available in Thailand. In 2024 we were granted the patent.
