Wellness Life Project (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. (“we”, “us”) handles the personal information (information relating to you) that we collect through the website we operate, “Wellness-Baantao” (the “Site”), in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E.2562 (2019) of the Kingdom of Thailand (the “PDPA”) and other applicable laws, and in line with the policy set out below.

For personal information entrusted to us through the Site, we are the “Data Controller” under the PDPA.

2. Personal information we collect

Through the inquiry form on the Site, we collect the following information.

  • Company or venue name (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Inquiry type (required)
  • Message (required)

3. Purpose of use

We use the personal information entrusted to us within the scope of the following purposes.

  1. Responding to inquiries and sending any documents required
  2. Correspondence relating to consultations, quotations and transactions for our charcoal business (wholesale and export)
  3. Consultation and guidance relating to our Rice Bran Enzyme Bath business (installation, opening support and similar)
  4. Important notices relating to our services
  5. Recording and managing the content of inquiries, and analysis to improve the quality of our future responses

Where we wish to use personal information for a purpose other than those above, we will first obtain your consent.

4. Legal basis for use

For personal information provided through the inquiry form, we collect and use it, as a rule, on the basis of your consent (given via the consent checkbox when the form is submitted).

We may also rely on pre-contractual measures — namely responding to your inquiry — and on legitimate interests (the smooth conduct of our business).

5. Disclosure to third parties

We will not provide the personal information entrusted to us to any third party without your consent, except in the following cases.

  • Where required by law
  • Where it is necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
  • Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national body or similar in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining your consent would risk impeding those duties

Please note that we outsource the operation and maintenance of the Site to an external production company, and personal information may be handled by them within the scope of that engagement. In such cases, we supervise the contractor appropriately.

6. Retention period

We store the personal information entrusted to us appropriately for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of use, or for the period we are required to retain it under applicable law, and delete or anonymize it promptly once that period has passed.

As a guide, the retention period is three years after an inquiry has been dealt with (except where an ongoing business relationship exists).

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may exercise the following rights in relation to your own personal information.

  • The right to request access to your personal information
  • The right to request correction or updating of your personal information
  • The right to request deletion or erasure of your personal information
  • The right to request that processing of your personal information be suspended
  • The right to withdraw consent (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it)
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand

To make any of these requests, please contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity and respond within the period prescribed by law.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies in order to analyze how the Site is used and to improve it.

If you would prefer not to allow cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings; note that some features of the Site may then become unavailable.

9. Security measures

We take reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access to, and the loss, destruction, alteration or leakage of, the personal information entrusted to us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may change the content of this policy in response to amendments to the law, changes to our services and similar. The revised policy takes effect from the moment it is published on the Site.

Where we make a significant change, we will announce it clearly on the Site.
